Who We Are
Founded in 1993, California Schools VEBA (CalVEBA) is a joint labor-management trust established by the County Office of Education, employee associations, and district management that innovates health care purchasing, manages rising costs, and improves care access for members and their families.
As the fourth largest health care purchaser in California, we:
- Provide benefits for nearly 160,000 members
- Partner with more than 70 public sector employers
